NextGen Label Group named ‘Converter of the Year’

The Label Industry Global Award is based on a variety of criteria: innovation, sustainability, inclusion, community, and training.

At a ceremony during Labelexpo Americas 2024, NextGen Label Group, based in Syracuse & Cohoes, NY, was named the Label Industry Global Award’s 2024 “Converter of the Year.” The other two finalists for the award were AnyGraphics (India) and Harkwell (UK).

The global award is based on a variety of criteria including:

  • Innovation – Introduction of innovative products or programs contributing to customer satisfaction
  • Sustainability – Development and implementation of outstanding sustainability initiatives 
  • Inclusion – Encouragement of a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Community & Charity – Contribution to community/charitable initiatives
  • Development & Training – Development and training programs for individuals within the company

The judging panel for the Label Industry Global Awards 2024 was chaired by Andy Thomas-Emans, strategic director, Labelexpo Global Series. The judges were Greg Hrinya, editor, Label & Narrow Web; Chelsea McDougall, group managing editor, Labels & Labeling; Tim McDonough, chairman, TLMI; and Lisa McTigue Pierce, executive editor, Packaging Digest.
